After quite a long hiatus, director Shekhar Kammula is back on the scene with 'Fidaa'. The cute love-hate-love story of a US based guy and a village belle hit screens on July 21. Starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi in the lead, the trailers and the songs had been a pointer that the movie would be a refreshing love story. Staying true to expectations, the first half of the movie does deliver that punch.

Varun (Varun Tej) plays a medical student, who resides in the US along with his brothers. The film opens with a song showcasing the love between the brothers and way of life in that foreign country.
